Art Leggings
Color carries so much power to influence how we feel and how we carry ourselves in the world. I created ColorVibe Co art leggings because I wanted to share with others the magic that lies in wearing colorful clothes. I wanted to create pieces of wearable art that would make the people who wear them feel free to be confident in themselves and embrace all of their parts. Every pair of leggings is a uniquely designed with great attention placed on each chosen color and each color juxtaposition. Every pair of pants is uniquely designed to capture a mood or theme. Color combinations are carefully crafted to speak both to the plurality and beauty of existence. Each pant serves as a jumping off point for you to create, embrace and express your individuality.
This collection is ultimately about allowing every one to claim space and to feel empowered while doing so. When you wear one of these pieces, the goal is that you will feel settled in your own skin and take on the world unabashedly.

One Woman Riot Swimwear: 1-piece and 4-Way Reversible Bikinis
The name of the swimwear collection “One Woman-Riot” came from a MILCK lyric. The idea behind me choosing that as the name was because I wanted to change the dialogue with which we think and speak of our bodies and the bodies of others. There is so much emphasis placed on “the perfect summer body” and in response to that I wanted to create a collection to acknowledge the ways in which our decisions to showcase our bodies in whatever state they are is an ode to claiming our right to our bodies existing as they are. It’s not about removing women’s rights to choose to alter their bodies as they see fit but an acknowledgment of the bravery with which women allow their bodies to exist in multitude of ways.
The Swimsuits, whether a 1-piece suit or a 4-way reversible bikini, are named using “I am____” affirmations. The names are not meant to be prescriptive but rather are meant to challenge the wearer to think about how they are seeing themselves and the ways they are embodying and performing self-esteem and self-love.

Pussy Gang Collective: Tanks and Shirts
This collection is meant to be both playful and serious. The primary aim is to reclaim euphemisms used to talk about vaginas and the ways the fascination with women’s bodies is often done through a reductive lens were the substance of them is lost.
The use of the word “gang” in conjunction to a euphemistic word for vagina signifies the unifying of womanhood and the collective power we hold to redefine how the world sees and speaks of us. The goal of this collection is to widen the collective about powerful women who have contributed to the world by acknowledging their womanhood in relation to the presence with which they occupy(ied) space. The euphemisms used are the ones that are playful and contain the space to be re-appropriated. The diversity of the mosaic that frames the euphemisms is aimed at making it clear that the collective womanhood is not monolithic and the strength of the “pussy gang collective” is being able to hold on to our uniqueness to both learn from and teach others. We hope that you will seek to learn more about the women we showcase and also share the names of women you would like to see showcased. |
Empowerment Shirts: Unisex
The empowerment shirts are very varied, some are short poems or food for thought statements, and some are poems accompanied with art. The unifying thread of this collection is “wearing empowerment” and in a way becoming a visual reminder of our ability to create our own sense of empowerment. Furthermore, by wearing these shirts you too serve as a teacher/reminder to anyone who sees it of their own inner strength and ability to create the confidence they seek.
Empowerment is genderless and so are our shirts. |
Lyrical Shorts
The idea behind the shorts collection was the desire to create a line that is specifically aimed at the notion of freedom of movement. The idea is that the shorts are comfortable wearable art pieces that removes any sense of insecurity or constriction. I wanted the line to be a reminder of the restorative power of moving one’s body freely in space whether it is through a structured dance class or an impromptu solo dance session. So much time is spent worrying about how things fit on our bodies and how we should hold ourselves to avoid wardrobe malfunctions and this collection is about letting go of all of those worries and using the new gained energy on making moves!
The shorts are named after songs and/or word constructions aimed at allowing us to re-examine how we engage with ourselves and the world around us. |
Confident Kids
This line was created to emphasize the need and importance of raising kids who feel centered in their beings and feel unencumbered by fears of not being good enough. This collection aims to create a sense of intentionality to the playfulness and carelessness of children--- where the carelessness of children is harnessed and allowed to grow in ways that shape them into knowing who they are as opposed to allowing themselves to be defined by the expectations of others. The created pieces are named for characteristics kiddo’s already embody and that we should continue to foster in them.

Artistic Bags
"The things we carry” was the drive behind the creation of the bags. I wanted to have the bags be both beautiful works of art and a way to make us think about the things we carry, figuratively and literally. Examining the ways we carry things that are not meant for us or carry things that do nothing but weigh us down and limit our abilities to live more freely is imperative.
This collection is a way for us to be more aware of how the things we carry impact our interactions with ourselves and the world. Behind this awareness is also an acceptance of our imperfections and the ways we may not always be great at self care and self empowerment and that too is ok. |
Diasporic Art Posters
The diasporic art posters are works of art I create to showcase in the home, office or school. The works I create deal with the issue of both self and external representation. With the works I create I hope to challenge the audience’s expectations and push them to re-examine their beliefs and the ways in which they understand and represent themselves. My works are both personal and non-personal. While I rely heavily on my own subjectivity to inform both the process and the execution of my projects, I aim to make my works accessible to everyone and thus not remain in the singularity of my experiences. In line with the mission of this clothing brand, the posters are about self-examination, challenging ourselves and others to create the world were we all feel welcome to exist and express our multiplicity.
The use of “diasporic” is aimed at linking the ways we all belong to diasporas at varying degrees. When we create microcosms of the worlds that represent our values and that value us, we are in effect creating diasporas. |
